Biography
Robert S. Allison (S'88–M'91–SM'08) received the B.A.Sc. degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo in 1991, the M.A.Sc. degree in electrical engineering (biomedical engineering) from the University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada, and the Ph.D. degree, specializing in stereoscopic vision, from York University, Toronto, Canada, in 1998.,Since 2001, he is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at York University, Toronto, Canada. He is also appointed to the graduate program in Psychology at York. He was on the experimental team for the 1998 Neurolab space shuttle mission and did Post-Doctoral research at York University and the University of Oxford, Oxford, U.K. He works on perception of space and self-mot...
