Biography
Christopher Knievel received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the University of Kiel, Germany, in 2009, and the Dr.Ing. degree from the Chair of Information and Coding Theory, University of Kiel in 2014.,From January 2014 to February 2021, he was a Team Leader and a Development Engineer for driver assistance systems with Continental AG, Lindau, Germany. Since March 2021, he has been with the HTWG University of Applied Sciences, Konstanz, where he is a Professor of Autonomous Systems. His research interests include situation assessment, cooperative maneuver planning as well as machine learning applied for mobile robots.(Based on document published on 16 January 2023).
