Biography

Jeya Maria Jose Valanarasu (Student Member, IEEE) received the bachelor's degree in instrumentation and control engineering from NIT Trichy, Tiruchirappalli, India. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA. He also spent some time with the Biomedical Engineering Department, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore as a Visiting Research Intern. His research interests include deep-learning-based solutions to medical image segmentation, image synthesis, image restoration, and computer vision.(Based on document published on 19 November 2020).

We report the first experimental demonstration of a novel single-layer subwavelength grating (SWG) that has >500-nm-wide reflection spectrum from 1.12-1.62 μm and very high reflectivity (>98.5%).
