Biography
Hyongsuk Kim (M'00) received the B.S. degree in electronics engineering from the Hanyang University, Jeonju, Korea, in 1980. He received the M.S. degree from the Chonbuk National University, Jeonju, Korea, in 1982, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, both in electrical engineering, in 1992.,During 1982–1993, he worked for the Agency for Defense Development, Korea. Since 1993, he has been a Professor with the Division of Electronics and Information Engineering, Chonbuk National University. From 2000 to 2002, he was with the Nonlinear Electronics Laboratory, Electrial Engineering and Computer Science Department, University of California, Berkeley, as a Visiting Scholar.
