Biography

Virginie Lurkin received a Post-Doctoral degree from the Transport and Mobility Laboratory, EPFL, and the Ph.D. degree in economics and management sciences from HEC-Liège, Belgium. During the Ph.D. degree, she was a Visiting Scholar with Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA. Before joining HEC Lausanne, she was an Assistant Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands, within the Operations, Planning, Accounting and Control (OPAC) Group. She is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Operations, Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Lausanne.
