Biography
Haoyu Ren (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, in 2007, the M.S. degree in computing science from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in computing science from Simon Fraser University, in 2016. From 2011 to 2013, he was with Samsung Research China. He is currently a Staff Engineer with the Samsung SoC Laboratory, San Diego, CA. Since 2016, he has been with Samsung USA, developing algorithms for image processing and computer vision applications.
