Biography

Katsushige Matsubara received the B.E. degree in electronics and information engineering and the M.E. degree in electrical engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University, Tokyo, Japan, in 1995 and 1997, respectively.,He joined NEC Corporation, Tokyo, in 1997, and transferred to Renesas Electronics Corporation, Tokyo, in 2010. Since then, he has been leading developments of low-power and high-performance video processors. He is currently the Senior Principal Engineer with Renesas Electronics Corporation. His research interests include image recognition, video processing, and data compression.(Based on document published on 3 November 2021).
