Biography
Xiaobin Yin (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in marine science and physical oceanography from the Ocean University of China, Qingdao, China, in 2003 and 2007, respectively. He studied remote sensing of sea surface salinity and wind with a multifrequency microwave radiometer.,From 2009 to 2015, he was involved in the validation of the SMOS L-band radiometric measurements and improvement of the European Space Agency Level 2 Ocean Salinity Retrieval Algorithms with the Laboratoire d’Océanographie et du Climat—Expérimentation et Approches Numériques, Paris, France.
