I. Introduction
Recently there has been an increase in the development of Renewable Energy Systems (RESs), such as widespread construction of PV and WTs, which provide benefit environmentally, socially and economically. [1], [2]. Microgrids which acts as an interconnection between RESs, energy storage systems and loads through different electronic interfaces in order to incorporate further DG in the electrical utility network [3], [4], [5]. Power quality challenges such as frequency deviations or distorted current and voltage waveforms that may cause degradation and malfunction of consumer equipment. In particular, low energy efficiency in electricity grid can increase power losses and equipment behavior of power system. Harmonics cause increases in voltages and currents, as well as increased reactive current, which further strains power systems [6]. Stability and consistency difficulties have gotten increasingly challenging at all levels of electrical power networks. As a result, problems of Power Quality (PQ) have attracted greater interest from both consumers and utilities [7]. The latest PQ problems is an issue due to growth of non-linear loads in the grid. The FACTs includes an optimized solution for all of these PQ problems [8]. A smart grid consisting of a PV and Wind Energy System allow different control techniques for low installed capacity applications. Controlling instabilities and reactive power compensation are an emerging requirement for the reliable operation of the hybrid power system. To compensate large measurements, high losses and a long catalyst loading also reported have some limitations as in [9]. In another study, STATCOM used to reduce the fluctuation in the voltage with the load-side converter. According to a review of the literature, the system-based voltage fluctuations created by the solar-wind hybrid microgrid have been investigate. To overcome the different types of stability issues in electrical power system a controller optimization is required such as technologies like traditional FACTs equipment and detailed research under different operating conditions.. The optimal benefit of STATCOM is modified to dynamic evaluate hybrid power systems [10], [11].
