Online Teaching Design Based on BOPPPS Model Under Rain Class Platform : Take Systems Engineering as an example

Aiming at the problem that the traditional teaching mode takes teachers as the center, students lack the ability of active learning and flexible application. According to the characteristics of online teaching, this paper applies the BOPPPS model to Rain Class integrating Ding talk, Wechat group and XuetangX platform. The organization methods of bridge-in, learning objective, pre-assessment, participatory-larning, post-assessment, and summary are designed elaborately. The practice shows that under the background of online teaching, the teaching mode proposed in this paper improves the students’ initiative in learning the course of "Systems engineering" and achieves the ideal teaching effect.

I. Introduction

System Engineering is a public elective course of our school, which is practical and comprehensive, and students have difficulty in understanding and using it. In order to effectively solve the problem of students not being able to attend classes due to the epidemic, we promoted the "suspension of classes without suspension and teaching without stopping" in an orderly manner. Taking the teaching unit of systematic analysis as an example, the author carries out task-driven teaching design based on BOPPPS teaching model, and explores how to improve students' learning enthusiasm and learning effect.
