I. Introduction
This problem of end-to-end QoS mapping in heterogeneous networks has received much attention during the last decade. Recently, wired and wireless heterogeneous networks have different QoS concerns and parameters. For instance, jitter and latency are important in web phones, while on-line video is more concerned with the packet loss ratio, which may affect the qality definition. Accordingly, in order to guarantee users' end-to-end QoS, QoS mapping becomes more and more important in the current heterogeneous networks environment.
