I. Introduction
We have already developed a W-band millimeter-wave antenna measurement system that can measure vector performance for the antenna using an oscilloscope (without a vector network analyzer) [1]. However, the system requires a synchronized signal output from the transmitting antenna system that is synchronized to the receiving system. An oscillator-integrated antenna, such as a FMCW automotive collision detection radar [2], does not have a synchronized signal output to the receiving system. For this reason, we have newly developed a vector antenna radiation pattern measurement system using a dual receive antenna setup for an oscillator-integrated antenna. Our measurement system consists of the oscilloscope and two mixers with a receiving antenna, one mixer (MX1) for antenna pattern measurement, the other mixer (MX2) for phase reference measurement, MX2 is placed near the oscillator integrated antenna as a phase reference and trigger signal measurement for the oscilloscope.
