Maximum power point tracking based on active disturbance rejection control in photovoltaic power generation system

The rapid emergence and evolution of industrial technology have highlighted the need for more effective ways to address the energy consumption and environmental pollution issues. One of the most promising technologies for addressing these problems is the use of photovoltaic power generation. Photovoltaic power generation is a technology that converts solar energy into electrical energy, which effectively uses clean energy instead of traditional energy sources. In this paper, we propose a Maximum Power Point Tracking control method based on active disturbance rejection control in photovoltaic power generation system to solve the problems of insufficient tracking speed and steady-state accuracy in traditional Maximum Power Point Tracking control methods, compare the effects of different control methods in Simulink simulation.

I. Introduction

Due to the development of industrial technology, energy consumption is increasing day by day, which makes the problem of energy shortage more and more prominent. At the same time, global electricity consumption is also increasing dramatically, and the finite fossil fuels and the unlimited growth of electricity demand have made it a great concern for countries to replace traditional energy generation with existing renewable energy sources. Among them, photovoltaic power generation has developed rapidly in recent years, and the energy of photovoltaic power generation is solar energy, which has the advantages of clean, safe and inexhaustible, and occupies an important position in new energy power generation.
