I. Introduction
To acquire ubiquitous coverage and high throughput for 5G-and-beyond networks, integrating terrestrial networks and air-craft systems (unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and satellites) is conceived to support this pursuit. Nevertheless, high latency, power constraints, and limited spectrum have placed obstacles in front of this endeavour. Hence, previous works introduced sound solutions for power and spectrum concerns as utilizing energy harvesting (EH) techniques [1], high-efficiency solar cells [2], [3], and intelligent spectrum management [4]. As for satellite throughput, to increase the capacity of satellites, the second generation of the geosynchronous equatorial orbit (GEO) high-throughput satellites (HTS) has been deployed since 2010 such as Ka-Sat (90 Gbit/s).
