Design and Simulation of Dot Matrix Display Based on Proteus

Taking AT89c51 microcontroller as the control core, a 16*16 dot matrix display is designed by using 74HC595, 74LS138 chips and 8*8 dot matrix. Based on the Proteus simulation software, the circuit design of the dot matrix display is completed. The main program and the interrupt service routine are written and debugged through the Keil software combined with the C language, and the static display of a single character and the conversion of the dynamic display of multiple characters are realized. The simulation results show that the circuit design is reasonable, the programming is correct, and the dot matrix display can achieve the expected effect.
