Analyzing the Design of Windows Cleaning Robots

It is imperative to maintain a clean living and working environment. As a result of the development of the construction industry, high-rise buildings are now ubiquitous. Traditional methods of cleaning are insufficient to maintain these buildings. Considering tall buildings can be more than 100 meters above ground level, airflow speeds are greater, and protection devices are essential. Additionally, manual cleaning is slower, and accidents are more likely. Consequently, the use of automatic cleaning robots is crucial to replacing manual cleaning. Further, automatic cleaning robots have the stability and accuracy that manual cleaning does not possess. Robots are more efficient at cleaning than humans. Three different types of cleaning robot mechanisms are discussed, including adsorption mechanisms, motion mechanisms, and cleaning mechanisms, and their application areas and advantages and disadvantages are compared. In the next section, we summarize the results of comparing the various types of mechanical engineering used in the adsorption device, the motion mechanism, and the cleaning device. The evaluation concludes with an assessment of the shortcomings and recommendations for future research. A number of types of automatic window cleaning robots are presented to the reader as references.
