A Proposed Microstrip Patch Antenna Design For 5G Applications

Online interaction in education is needed all around the world, but it is especially important in developing nations like Bangladesh, where there would need to be high throughput and large speed to ensure that online classes may be accessed without interruption. Therefore, the authors of this study have developed a microstrip patch antenna with a resonance frequency of 28.5 gigahertz for use in 5G millimeter wave bands, enabling high-quality online learning and other 5G applications. The authors have employed a Rogers RT 5880 substrate by a loss tangent of 0.0010 and a constant of electrical insulator that is dielectric is 2.2 in their suggested design. The substrate measures 0.6 mm in height. This paper analyzed the design and found that it is extremely efficient and dependable for 5G applications, leading to results such as a reflection coefficient of -32.86 decibel, an expanded bandwidth of 1.64 gigahertz, a high gain of 10 decibel, and an exceptional radio patterns accuracy is 100%.
