Data Privacy Protection from the Perspective of GDPR - A Case Study on E-learning Platform “SHCneo”

In order to avoid the risk of privacy leakage during using E-Learning platforms, E-Learning Platform “SHCneo” - jointly built by Chinese and German universities follows the most strict General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in EU for protecting the personal privacy of teachers and students. Based on the introduction of current network security development on E-Learning platforms in China and other countries, we use SHCneo as a case study, analyze the characteristics of GDPR's personal data privacy protection, try to explore the improvement of the data privacy security in online learning system, and summarize a few data privacy protection measures.
