Finely tunable monolithically integrated laser with a simple wavelength control mechanism

We explore the feasibility and performances of a tunable laser relying on a single stage asymmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometer combined with a DBR to achieve a good frequency selection. Detailed characterization implemented on a generic foundry platform exhibit good emission properties and control capabilities.
