Blockchain Based Fog Computation Model For Military Vehicular Application

The performance of military-enabled operations that involve networking depends upon the timely collection, transmission and analysis of critical information generated. The information in this field can be generated from humans and multiple heterogeneous devices deployed in the field. It is necessary that the data generated can be stored and accessed in a secure manner maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of information. Also, critical decision-making scenarios are common in this field where faster information processing at lower network latency can save time and computational overheads. Blockchain is one of the latest technologies that can ensure integrity and security for the information generated inthe field. Fog computing is suitable where immediate decision-making is required at reduced operational costs. Considering these scenarios, this work looks into a fog computation model for accessing military vehicles from connected garages that are secured using blockchain networks.
