IEC/EN 62264 multi-dimensional scheduling approach using ISO 22400 Key Performance Indicators

The task of reliable planning of operations in a manufacturing enterprise is crucial for the competitiveness of the enterprise in the market. The elaboration of schedules, depending on the workload and in coordination with all activities is part of the activities of operational management and is defined in the IEC/EN 62264 standard. The approach of how it may be realized in a MES/MOM system with advanced planning and scheduling functions, what is the impact of scheduling and data collection in the performance analysis. A simplification and interpretation of some important Key Performance Indicators like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Net Equipment Effectiveness (NEE) indexes, are a matter of this work.
