Investigation on low frequency parameter of WTGS buried in homogeneous and stratified soil

This paper is devoted to study wind turbine grounding systems (WTGS) to evaluate the human and equipment protection performance. Two practical configurations have been simulated to determine grounding resistance, step and touch potentials, and this when the grounding system is buried in homogeneous and stratified soil. The paper highlights specific conditions to ensure human protection in the surroundings of WTGS.
