Outage Analysis of NOMA based Non-Linear Energy Harvesting Cognitive D2D Network

This article examines the end-to-end (e2e) outage performance of a device-to-device (D2D) network. D2D users are cognitive radio (CR) enabled and harvest energy from radio frequency (RF) signals of power transfer unit (PTU) and cellular user (CU). D2D users exploit non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technique to pass their information to their peers. The network performance is studied in term of network outage. Analytical and simulation framework for the outage probability are developed and compared.
