An IoT based Embedded System for Monitoring and Control of Greenhouse parameters

Greenhouse theories and methods inspired this endeavour. This work gives a smart Green House model that enables farmers to work automatically without much manual labour. A closed greenhouse protects plants from high temperatures and humidity. This project’s sensors detect smoke and gases. The system delivers the data through Wi-Fi and a cloud server to the owner when all parameters are detected. Also, it controls the Green House’s conditions automatically. The owner can monitor through the phone. This project uses an embedded system with an ATMEGA 328p microprocessor, temperature sensors, humidity sensors, DC motor, smoke sensor, Wi-Fi module, moisture sensor, and LDR sensor to monitor and adjust greenhouse factors for specific plant growth. Many projects on this topic mention greenhouse climatic parameters. This paper has created a real-time system for climate factors on individual plants like roses. Minute-by-minute, hourly, and daily, the control measurements are analyzed to obtain the project results. A complete information on greenhouse rose growing has been provided. Automatic control parameters include fan, pump, heater, lamp, and buzzer. When the temperature rises, the cooling fan turns on; when it falls, the heaters do. If soil water diminishes, the pump will run. This project decreases manual labour and implementation costs. This project will help produce high-quality organic products.
