A Direction Modulation Technique for Air-based Platform on Uniform Circular Array

For the security communication requirements in the physical layer of the air-based platform multi antenna system, a three-dimensional directional modulation technology based on a uniform circular array is proposed, which uses multiple objective functions to synthesize the phase shift value of the antenna array phase shifter, so that the constellation of the received signal in the desired direction is the same as that of the baseband digital modulation signal, but produces distortion in other directions. Compared with the traditional beamforming technology, the proposed directional modulation method has better physical layer security communication performance.
