The battery equalization circuit based on the bidirectional flyback transformer used for vehicle power battery packs

The inconsistency of batteries is reflected in the difference of both performance parameters of the single battery and battery working state, which will have a significant impact on the performance of battery packs. In this paper, the bidirectional flyback transformer used for vehicle power battery packs is studied. The battery equalization circuit can intervene in the battery pack through the external circuit when there is a large difference in the battery, so as to discharge the battery with high capacity and charge that with low capacity, thus ensuring that there is no obvious difference in the charge and discharge depth of all batteries. In this case, the widening difference between batteries can be effectively avoided.
