An improved weighted centroid localization algorithm based on Zigbee

An improved weighted centroid localization algorithm based on RSSI is proposed. The algorithm adds the third-dimensional z-axis concept on the basis of the original algorithm to reduce the error caused by the positioning personnel carrying the positioning sensor at different heights, thus greatly increasing the positioning accuracy. This paper uses Zigbee network to complete a more accurate indoor barrier-free positioning target experiment. The results show that the accuracy of the improved weighted centroid algorithm provided in this paper is significantly improved compared with the previous algorithm.
