An integrated model based on the location-based services for Higher Educational Systems LBS-HES

Albaha University has more than 20 thousand students, more than 2000 faculty members and around 5000 administrative staff. In fact, the city is in high mountains with unexpected rainy weather. Also, the nature of the city has the mountain avalanches in the main roads with Sprawling villages. The previous considerations have invited us to investigate the possible solutions of crowdsensing for all the stakeholders in terms of our higher education. Mainly, this research addresses the main issues of different cases of higher educational systems. It would allow for more decision support mechanisms based on the location-based services. In different circumstances, this model will help both instructors and students in finding alternative lecture conducting solutions although the variable circumstances. This model can be focused on the current location and time of both parties. So, it will calculate the remaining time for both students and lecturers to choose the suitable lecture conducting approach. There are two main conducting approach including the traditional and virtual classes. This model will help choosing an appropriate approach based on the earlier defined criteria. Several factors result on choosing the followed approach including the time for all the class members, distance and variable circumstances based on the sensor's continuous readings.
