A Continuous Short RMS-Based Grid Time Difference Localization Method for Reactor Loose Parts

Aiming at the problem of the large localization error of the reactor loose parts in engineering, a continuous short RMS- based grid time difference localization method for reactor loose parts was proposed. A character parameter was constructed and a signal arrival time judgement method was proposed to determine the time difference when the bending wave generated by the impact of loose parts reaches different sensors, and the localization of reactor loose parts would be realized based on the time difference and grid positioning method. A simulation test data of loose parts are used to verily the effectiveness of the proposed method. The results showed that the grid time difference localization method of reactor loose parts based on continuous short RMS is effective.
