Analysis of the Degree of Congestion of WiFi, Bluetooth and ZigBee Communication Media

We are currently surrounded by so many WiFi and Bluetooth devices that it is important to be able to monitor the spectrum at any time and in any location to understand what the user experience will be like in terms of spectrum congestion. A typical public space, such as public transport, a conference room, a laboratory or a shopping mall, where thousands of 2.4 GHz spectrum users can be present at the same time. Wi-Fi can also be disrupted by nearby Wi-Fi. In these situations, user density may limit the flow, and ultimately the user experience may be affected. Bluetooth and WiFi spectra are analyzed using a real-time spectrum analyzer in different conditions and based on the results we will determine how severely the flow is affected when several devices are used at the same time. The technical measurements were performed in a laboratory room, where in addition to Wi-Fi there were several Bluetooth or ZigBee devices and tests were performed in different situations, when a Bluetooth device is scanning, when two Bluetooth devices are paired, another situation is when 2 Bluetooth devices are being scanned or a ZigBee module is being scanned. The technical measurements were performed using the Signal Hound BB60C receiver.
