Fault-tolerant Scheduling Method Based on Imprecise Calculation for Real-time System of Aviation Equipment

Aiming at the requirements of fault-tolerant tasks scheduling in aviation real-time system, according to the characteristics of Vxworks real-time system, this paper proposes a fault-tolerant EDF scheduling algorithm based on imprecise computation. The algorithm combines the imprecise computation theory to decompose the task into a mandatory execution part and an optional execution part. The processing time of the optional part is taken as the reserved time for the fault-tolerant operation of the mandatory part, which improves the scheduling flexibility and fault-tolerant performance of the algorithm. Thereby, the task throughput and resource utilization of the system are improved.
