Research on Tumor Image Segmentation in Medical Imaging based on Extremum Adaptive Median Filtering

Intelligent medical imaging plays an irreplaceable role in improving the accuracy and efficiency of clinical diagnosis. Image segmentation is the most important part in the study of tumor imaging features. This paper combines algorithms in the field of image segmentation and proposes a semi-automatic tumor segmentation algorithm based on polar adaptive median filtering and region growing to achieve accurate segmentation of tumor images, thus laying an important foundation for obtaining morphological features of images.
