Cross Technology Communication between LTE-U and Wi-Fi to Improve Overall QoS of 5G System

As the world is exponentially developing with expanding wireless innovations and multimedia services, there is tremendous demand to provide sufficient space for developing traffic communication systems. So, it has been suggested that deploying LTE in unlicensed spectrum as practical solution for such a developing traffic and its effective communication with Wi-Fi builds the performance of communication services or networks. Since LTE in unlicensed bands is profoundly involved and has changing conditions there are certain difficulties & issues which are to be resolved.In this paper, we simulated and examined the cross technology communication among LTE-U and co-found Wi-Fi access points in MATLAB software to improve the interference between the two technologies. Non-regular placement of LTE-U BS presented for better QoS. This will improve the network and nature of rich digital content and application. To meet the prerequisites of future information rich application and terminals with improved SNIR, we propose enhanced interference based solutions for LTE-U and Wi-Fi without influencing user performance. During the puncturing time of LTE transmission, information is accessed from Wi-Fi AP if accessible inside the range. But, since it experiences the interference when LTE-U and Wi-Fi coexist, interference nulling is utilized to limit the SNIR. Simulation results show effective utilization of puncturing time for CTC and decrease in interference, improving overall QoS of the network thereby increasing throughput, capacity and coverage.
