Simultaneous Fault Detection and Anti-saturated Control for Discrete-time Systems

The problem of simultaneous fault detection and anti-saturated control(SFDAC) is studied for discrete time systems in this paper. The actuator is saturated in many industrial control systems. Then, in the process of fault detection, the designed residual generator not only completes the task of fault detection, but also overcomes the influences of actuator saturation on system performance. In addition, the influence of system uncertain parameters and external disturbance signals on residual generator need to be suppressed in this process, which can effectively improve the accuracy of fault detection. From what has been discussed in the last two simulation examples, we may safely draw the conclusion that the effectiveness of the SFDAC.
