Interactive Feeding Machine for Fur Baby

Modern people are busy with work or schoolwork, and often go out on business or long-distance travel, resulting in the problems that their beloved pets have not been fed and taken care of for a long time. Therefore, there is a demand for pet products such as pet feeding machines, treadmills, and trackers in the pet market. Current pet feeding machines provide simple functions such as regular and quantitative feeding, one-way video, and communication between owners and pets, but there lacks interaction between owners and pets and real-time pet health monitoring.Thus, we propose a pet feeding machine with functions of interactive and pet cat health monitoring, two-way video and communication, pre-recording and video recording, and infrared thermal sensing. Owners can use mobile phones to connect to pet feeding machines to have two-way video and communication with cats. Fur babies can see owners through feeder screens, to make them feel that they are cared for at any time. The pre-recording function plays owners’ pre-recorded voices and recorded videos to attract fur babies to come and eat and make them feel that owners are around. Infrared thermal sensing helps monitor the fur baby’s body temperature at a close distance when the fur baby eats from the pet feeding machine and determines the fur baby’s health status. The above functions make owners go out and take care of fur babies at any time as if at home through the devices.
