Investigations on Biconical Antenna : Benchmarking Against IEEE P2816 Standard

The IEEE Antennas and Propagation Standards Committee (APS/SC), sponsored by the Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S), has taken a special drive for the benefits of the antenna researchers, engineers, faculty members, and students. The objective is recommended practice providing common guidelines for modeling and simulation of antennas (P2816). The biconical antenna is proposed as one of the possible benchmark candidates. The design and simulation of such a biconical antenna are presented in this manuscript.
