Application of Adaptive Moment Estimation For Solving Scattering Problems with PE Basis Function

This paper studies the feasibility of using the adaptive momentum estimation (Adam) to solve matrix equations generated by the phase-extracted (PE) basis function in method of moments (MoM). PE-MoM has the advantage of modeling large and smooth scatters with less unknowns, but the matrix equation usually has a large condition number and hard to solve with iterative solvers. Here we use the technique of stochastic row samples to accelerate the solution process. Numerical examples verifies the performance of this scheme.
