Wideband Compact Planar Metallic Lens and Antenna for Radiation of High-Power Microwaves

A compact, dual-band high-power antenna system, operating in L and S bands is presented. The design consists of a dual-band corrugated horn antenna whose gain is improved by the use of two circular metallic lenses. Numeric simulations of the radiation pattern for the single and stacked lens are presented. The resulting system is smaller and lighter than a single horn with equivalent directivity.
