The primary emphasis of modern healthcare services is to ensure the patient comfort. Wearable electronics are wireless devices that may be worn by patients to any place. Recently, different wearable devices are designed and developed to monitor the vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, oxygen level, and pulse rate. The regular vital sign monitoring plays a crucial role in providing the patients with accurate and effective treatment. Moreover, checking the patient's vital signs on a frequent basis is highly essential to provide a better result and prognosis. Wearable technologies assist people in better understanding their health state. This technology opens up a new way to test the vital signs elsewhere at home, school, office, and so on rather than in a hospital. However, the wearable devices also impose few limitations in the patient's lifestyle or daily routine. Patch monitors, fabric monitors, chest trap monitors, armband monitors, wrist bands, and other sorts of wearable devices are some of the different types of wearable devices in practice. This paper reviews the recent innovations in wearable devices and the effectiveness of remote healthcare monitoring techniques by showcasing their methods, frameworks, comparison, challenges, and future scope.
