Impact of random structural perturbations on Hollow-Core Anti-Resonant Fibers

Structural imperfections introduced by fabricating hollow-core anti-resonant fibers have been studied using Monte-Carlo simulations. A highly wavelength-dependent impact on the propagation loss and increased single- modeness has been observed. We provide a relationship between imperfections and fabrication metrics to help predict the realistic fiber performance.
