Recent Advances in mm-Wave 5G Antennas for Handheld devices

This paper presents a comprehensive review of recent work conducted in mm-wave antennas for the fifth-generation communication. The paper focuses on dual polarized antenna arrays in terms of effective miniaturization techniques, array decoupling, and integration in handheld devices. In addition, a summary of beamforming capabilities is presented. The work presented can guiding future research in mm-wave antenna arrays for smartphones and other handheld devices.
