Recent Studies on Nonlinearity in SAW Devices

Realization of the highly linear acoustic wave filters/multiplexers is one of the most important challenges on a radio-frequency front-end portion of cellular phone handsets, thus many studies on it, such as measurement techniques, simulation techniques, and generation mechanisms, have been performed. This paper reviews the recent studies on the linearity of SAW devices mainly performed by the authors.
