UWB Monopole Antenna with Triple Band Suppression Characteristics

A UWB Monopole Antenna is proposed in this paper which is able to notch at three different frequency bands. It operates in the frequency range between 3.1GHz to 10.6GHz which meets the requirements of ultra-wide band applications. The notching obtained at different bands is of high rejection which has maximum value of VSWR up to 28. The proposed antenna is modeled on a RO4003TM substrate which has dimensions of
$28\times 24\ \text{mm}^{2}$
. The proposed antenna is being integrated with stub and in the lower layer of the patch two axe like structures are removed which helps in filtering out the three different bands without disturbing the performance of the antenna.
