Distributed Feeder Automatic Recovery Strategy Based on Line Load Rate and Peer-to-Peer Communication

Feeder automatic (FA) technology can quickly locate and isolate faulted sections and provide power restoration to the non-faulty area. However, the current fault recovery policy is single and fixed. It cannot specify and generate a flexible fault recovery strategy according to the real-time load rate of the line. This paper presents a distributed FA recovery method based on line load rate and peer-to-peer communication, making a flexible fault recovery scheme and improving the power supply recovery capability of distributed FA effectively. In the end, the effectiveness of the proposed approach is verified in a real simulation case.
