Hierarchical Identification Method of Household-Transformer Relationship based on Adaptive Piecewise Aggregation Approximation

The inaccurate relationship between household and transformer widely exists in the topology of low-voltage distribution network, which leads to abnormal line loss statistics and untimely notice of power outage and restoration. Under this background, this paper proposes a method to identify the relationship between household and transformer in low-voltage distribution network based on the voltage data of smart meter. Firstly, the adaptive piecewise aggregation approximation (APAA) method is used to reduce the dimension of voltage data and extract the characteristics of voltage curve. Then, the balanced iterative reducing and clustering using hierarchies (BIRCH) algorithm is used to cluster the voltage characteristic data to realize the identification of households and their transformer. Finally, the results of example analysis show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed model.
