Space Debris Removal Ground-based Laser Nudge De-orbiting System and Modeling Process

The increasing space debris has seriously affected normal human spaceflight activities, and how to deal with the threat of space debris to spacecraft in orbit has become a real problem that cannot be avoided by human spaceflight activities. Nudge de-orbit is an important human space debris removal method, which uses the force phenomenon when laser, ion beam, solar radiation, and other energy beams interact with space debris and applies specific force during the debris motion to make it leave its original orbit to achieve the purpose of removal. In this paper, the proposed method is mainly laser pushing.
