A faster consensus control algorithm for multi-agent systems with binary-valued communication

Under binary-valued communication, consensus control for multi-agent systems with noise is investigated in this paper. Different from existing consensus control with binary-valued communication, this paper adopts a constant gain instead of a time-varying gain in the control algorithm, which leads the previous analysis method no longer applicable. By defining an auxiliary variable, the spectral radius of the coefficient matrix for consensus error and auxiliary variable is less than 1, which proves multi-agent systems can reach consensus and the consensus speed can be exponential.
