Hybrid Model of Vertical Axis Wind Turbine–Solar Power Generation

With the evolution of energy modulation and usage by the post-industrial revolution-based needs, people have been looking for alternatives to conventional energy sources. Fossil fuels and energy sources like coal, radioactive minerals and petroleum are scarce on this planet and hence should be replaced in use with renewable natural sources of energy. Primarily with the paradigm shift, humans have exceptionally shifted to the new age of solar and wind energies. The electricity generation and the distribution based on the demand is being satisfied although new alternative resources and the new emerging technologies have been helping us to do so. The technologies have a limitation of being highly dependent on pure and suitable environmental operation for the generation that makes the output less dependable and efficient. The scalability of these techs is still low as even the sources have ample capacity, the limitations have been overpowered where only a limited generation has yet been feasible at present. In such cases of limited operation, the mixed operation of two or more models being dependent on different sources of energy can be highly useful and helpful for humans now. A hybrid wind turbine is one of the examples of it which is designed with the combination of the multi-blade wind turbine in combination with one more generative model. It not only improves the efficiency coefficient but also helps to scale the operation and output of the machine. The geometrical and operational parameters are the most vital role players affecting the coefficient of power, coefficient of static torque and coefficient of torque. This model here when combined with the feasible scale of operation can work even for the low scale operation such as household purposes where both the solar panel and turbine integrated will help the process of operability of the machine. Besides the application, optimization is still needed in this machine where the parameters of operation must be more optimized and adjusted before high commercialization.
