To Simulate RAN Slice in 5G Networks

In 5G, E2E communications and Network Slicing are some of the crucial components which are being explored more in today’s world to satisfy user needs and requirements by improving throughput and reducing latency. In this paper we mainly focus on network slicing, in that we slice the RAN (Radio Access Network) portion of the 5G network by a powerful emulator called eXP-RAN. We also summarize the different methods used for interacting with eXP-RAN and its emulation. We have created the infrastructure for randomly generated topology. We have emulated this infrastructure for video services.
