Developing a Remote Controlled Rover from scratch

In this project we have attempted to create a general-purpose rover from scratch. The main inspiration of this rover has been taken from Spirit and Opportunity rovers. Both of these rovers exceeded their original intended lifespan in the harsh Martian environment and were used extensively for exploration of the red planet. These feats were achieved because of the incredible and reliable engineering done for these rovers by JPL. In this project, we have tried to replicate some of these achievements and some more within a limited budget, and to create a rover which can be used for a variety of tasks covering the broad areas of surveillance, exploration, and assistance.
